I have a passion for creating heavily textured mixed media abstract paintings. My goal is to draw the viewer into an interactive experience with the painting creating a desire to touch, feel and view the world within.
I like to work big. A 48x60 canvas is my favorite surface. Much of my work is heavily influenced by the color and rich texture in the works of Sam Feinstein.
My work is also inspired by Franz Kline, Jackson Pollock, Willem De Kooning, Hans Hofmann, Robert Motherwel, Robert Burridge and The Lotus Sutra. I have been painting for over 20 years and my paintings are in private collections in New York, Washington D.C, Palm Beach, Miami and Boca Raton. . My Nichiren Buddhist practice fuels my creativity and informs my life. Nam Myoho Renge Kyo.
